The focus of Taranto Landscape Design's mission is to create beautiful spaces for people to enjoy, while working to improve the overall quality of the built environment. Creating an enjoyable human experience while still being thoughtful of the land and environment is at the forefront of every design.
Jim Taranto LLA, Founder
Jim Taranto is a licensed landscape architect in the state of New Jersey with 12+ years of experience in the high-end residential market. He works with clients to design all aspects of residential landscape from custom swimming pools to patios to outdoor kitchens. He also does property master planting and lighting design. With a keen eye for the functional relationship between the spaces and design, he works with clients in northern New Jersey and beyond.
Jim earned his Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Lehigh University, while playing for the university soccer team. He earned a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University. In his free time, he’s an avid runner and aspiring triathlete.
